Happy Hallow-Giving-X-mas-Eve!

Yes, it really has been that long since my last family post. And yes, I missed creating posts for ALL FOUR major holidays. So in order to get 2010 off to a non-guilty start, I am inventing a new holiday for my post. It's called Hallow-Giving-X-mas-Eve, for those of you who are in too much of a hurry to read blog titles. I am hereby creating this holiday for all of us moms out there who are too busy picking up our kids toys for the ump-teenth time, to post pictures on our blogs for four consecutive months. As such, I am certain there is a plethura of moms out there that can appreciate this new holiday as it so closely follows President Hinckley's advice to live simply. So without further adieu, I present pictures from ALL FOUR holidays in descending holiday order beginning with Halloween. Because after all, it's not like we didn't celebrate these holidays, right? We probably just partied a little too hard, if anything. Either way, here are the long awaited pics. Sadly, I may have to invent another holiday this spring called Happy Valen-Patty-Easter, if this trend keeps up!

Our annual visit to The Pumpkin Patch in West Jordan. Owen kept asking mommy where the Great Pumpkin was.

Owen and Dallin getting a wheel-barrow ride from mom.

Together in front of the tractor that Owen wanted so desperately to ride.

Owen's Halloween costume - his favorite toy in the world.

Dallin, the giraffe, being snuggled by his cousin Kayla dressed as Alice from Twilight.

Cousins Ashlynn and Hailee at Grandma's Halloween party.

Our annual drive up the canyon to see the changing leaves.

Dad and Dallin hiking, and also the last time Dallin legally fit into his baby knapsack. (I hope he can still have children.)

This spot in Little Cottonwood Canyon is not far from the place where we got engaged 8 and 1/2 years ago.

Owen loved climbing on the rocks.

Ah, Christmas time is here! Mom and Owen making cookies at Aunt Tiff and Uncle Jeff's house in Norman, Oklahoma.

Christmas Eve in our new Christmas jammies. Sadly, mom couldn't wear hers
because they were, well, only for dad to see.
The best gift of all was seeing my twin for Christmas, and as an added bonus getting 12 inches of snow on Christmas Eve. A long-awaited snowfall for the Jensons after many years. Them Southerners just don't get dat stuff dat we do.
