Here is what our living and kitchen floors looked like.
Here is our lovely tile floor which took about a day and a jack hammer to rip up.
Here is the glue that the previous owners used to put down the tile. We had to rent a carbon bit grinder to get this up.
Things went much easier once we had the kitchen done, not to mention the fact that having the fridge in the kitchen and not in the garage made living in a construction zone all that much better.
And here is our new floor. I am still waiting for the end pieces which are back ordered, which is why you can still see the blue tarp around the edges. I'd like to give a special thanks to Russell, Jordan, Jacob and my Dad for helping us get this done over New Years. Brooke and I are very happy to have finished this major project. Now it is on to the basement which has been on hold since July when the project came to a grinding hault because of a gas line and 12 puppies. Wish us luck as we take on our basement, again!

I'm loving it! You guys are such a fun family! I'm so bad with home projects, I leave them for a couple days before I get to them...
