Owen has a favorite book which we read to him muliple times each day. It counts from 1-20 and then 25,50, 75 and 100. Each page has the number or circles cut out and then when you lift the flap you see the corrisponding number of objects. Example: 8 apples, 9 snails, 3 ice cream cones, 7 "freaky" tadpoles, etc. Everytime we sit in the rocking chair he immediatly climbs up an looks on the dresser for his beloved book. He loves lifting up the
flaps and seeing whats behind them. He has now started to imitate mom and dad reading it to him. He mumbles something, lifts the flap and then turns each page....we call it his pretend reading! Brooke has the book memorized and can't wait for the next book phase to hit.

I love the fun things that they get excited about. And he will look back a read this and know how much you love him, because you are so excited for him! He is a little doll Brookie! So happy you are doing well. Need another trip to the 80 degree weather any time? Let us know. The door is always open, and we miss you!!
