Yes, I made this cake all by self! We had a homogenized birthday party for my mom, Heather, Ashlynn and Logan on Sunday. Of course, every good birthday party needs a homemade cake, so I made up my mind I was going to redeem myself from domestic mediocrity and try a gourmet cake. My sister, Heather, told me about a website (familyfun.com) with cakes that are very user-friendly. She was right. Here is my version of "Gum-Drop Garden" complete with gum-drop tulips, Oreo dirt, sour gummy worms, wafer picket fence posts and personalized birthday seed packets. And yes, it tasted as good as it looked. I may have to try this again soon.
