5 Things I Don’t Like:
1. Bad puppeteer-ing. I don’t like it when you watch TV shows with your kids and all of the sudden the puppet’s mouth is moving, but no sound is coming out, as if the sound guy and the puppet guy are not in sync anymore. It just looks bad, and Owen gets a confused look on his face.

2. Children’s books that have dustcovers. They go right into the trash at our house. Owen can't get enough of them. It’s an automatic invite for a toddler paper-shredding party. Plus, the covers never survive long enough to make it to kid number two.
3. Shopping carts that trap your toddler’s feet in the foot holes and you can’t get them out. (Especially because I buy Owen’s shoes a little on the big side, so they last longer – those ones might as well be flippers when I try to get them out of the cart.)
4. Kids at the playground who push Owen off the slide or whack him in the head for no reason – then don’t get disciplined. That bugs me. If Owen was asking for it, well, that’s a different story.
5. When we forget get to put gel in Owen’s hair before church. I don’t have any girls to bow-i-fy, so I’m not asking much to have a little spikey-haired kid to take to church on Sunday.
5 Things I Love:
1. When Owen takes my face in his hands and says “cheeks.”
2. Dallin’s congested laugh that never seems to come out all the way.
3. When Owen gets something stuck, but really only two-year old stuck, and yells “I stuck! I stuck!”
4. Dallin’s two bottom teeth, all alone, and cute as can be.
5. When Owen tries to peel my eyelids open while I’m sleeping. His hot little breath on my face always makes me smile, even if I really want to sleep.
5 Things I’ve Learned:
1. Never try to catch a cheese grater falling out of your cupboard.
2. Toddlers will eat anything soaked in ranch dressing.
3. Daddy’s work shoes are a good place for any toy.
4. You can pick up a lot of things with your toes when you’re holding an infant.

5. It's okay to miss a naptime once in a while for theraputic mom-time.

I totally agree with you on #4 of things you don't like.
P.S. Great job on the cake.
What is it with Ranch? Brooke has to have it on everything!
Oh trying to catch a cheese grater?? That freaked me out a little, thinking of what you must have suffered! YUCK!
