I can't believe that summer is over. We haven't gotten near enough done this summer. With family in town, weddings and puppies I feel like we haven't made a dent on our summer to do list. So with one more weekend left before school started we thought we would ignore how little we accomplished and forget the ever expanding to do list and go have some fun. So we went to Raging Waters. We almost didn't go because the weather did not look great and Jesse was driving back from
youth conference that morning but we decided that we would brave the storm clouds and go and have some fun. Although raging waters is no
schlitterbahn, or so the Orton's keep telling us, we had a good time. Jesse didn't even get stuck on the H2O
rollercoaster. Brooke loved the fact that she was not pregnant and could go in something other than the lazy river. Owen wasn't feeling too adventurous to go with dad on some of the water rides and seemed content to spend most of the day under a tree pulling up grass and trying to eat all the
Oreos. Owen was good and made sure he had sunscreen on all day long but mom and dad didn't do quite as well. All in all we had a good time and most importantly Brooke had a good day to unwind before she went back for her last year of her B.A.
