A co-worker of Jesse's said that school is like an open artery - you just feel more and more of your life gushing out of you the longer you keep going. Well, Brooke just finished her first week of Fall semester at the University of Utah, only about 21 credits left, but who's counting. Brooke is going back to finish up her B.A. in English. She is taking 13 credits this semester and will only have 13 credits next semester and then she will be done. She wants to be a high school English teacher so she might have more schooling after this, but we are going to take things one step at a time.
Brooke has a very wonderful cousin (Marisa) who has offered to watch Owen during her daytime classes and Jesse watches him at night. Being that she is an English major, she spends most of her study time reading. However, she does manage to take the occational ice cream break from whatever novel she might be reading that night.
