We've gone 2000 miles . . .

For Christmas my parents took my family (all 11 of us) to Fort Lauderdale Florida for a vacation and some time on the beach. We had to rent a 15 passenger van so we all could fit and also haul all of our luggage to and from the airport.
We had a great time relaxing on the beach and enjoying the sun.

We saw some gators at the everglades and a shark or two while snorkeling off the Florida Keys.
We had a great time and the hardest part of the trip was trying not to laugh when the locals told us how cold it was. As you can see Utah quickly reminded us what December is like some 2000 miles away from Florida.

At least we are getting some ski's for Christmas, which makes coming home to a foot of snow much more tolerable.
